A Mission of Inclusion
In the 1960s, inspired by the community health center movement, our founders saw the need for accessible healthcare for all. From the start, their mission was clear: healthcare is a right, not a privilege. This vision set the foundation for Noble Community Clinics and our commitment to providing quality care to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
Humble Beginnings
Our journey began in Wautoma, Wisconsin, serving migrant workers and their families. Early on, we reached out through mobile health services, ensuring care was available to those who needed it most. Our designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) helped solidify our dedication to serving vulnerable populations.

We’d be honored to share our story with you.
Our Start
Community-Led Care
During the 1960s, a group of community leaders saw a need: Where can migrant farmworkers receive medical care? This group of healthcare professionals, migrant advocates and church leaders built the foundations of who we are today through volunteerism, small donations and strong conviction.
They hosted free migrant health clinics in local church halls.
In 1973 they were incorporated as La Clinica de los Campesinos, earned a Migrant Health Center designation and were able to purchase the first mobile health unit that was used seasonally to deliver medical care to migrant farmworkers.
Our First Location
We reached two important milestones during the 1980s.
- We were designated as a Community Health Center, which created funding for our work and allowed us to offer services to all community members.
- We opened our Wild Rose location allowing patients to access care year-round.
Wautoma and Mauston
Having a year-round location in Wild Rose led to growth that necessitated the construction of the Wautoma clinic that operates today. The Wautoma clinic opened its doors to the public in 1997.
13 years later, in 2010, we opened our first dental clinic outside of Wautoma in Mauston. Noble Community Clinics – Mauston still operates today in the same location.
Our Growth Boom
In the past decade, we were able to expand how we live our mission. We were able to open up numerous satellite locations, hire additional provider types and offer more support and services.
In just ten years, we transformed from a single dental clinic in Mauston to one of the largest dental clinics in the state.
2016 | Added Behavioral Health Services
2017 | Added a Substance Abuse Recovery Program, a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and started a school-based dental program in Adams County
2018 | Opened our Friendship Location to expand our Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Recovery Programs
2019 | Opened our Stevens Point dental location and Mobile Health Unit operating today
2020 | Our Mobile Dental Program began serving the Amish community in Dalton
2021 | Expanded our school-based dental program
2023 | We expanded our Medical and Behavioral Health services in Stevens Point and Beaver Dam
Who We Are Today
We are proud to welcome every member of our community to visit any of our locations. We serve more than 18,000 patients from 10 counties every year, and we provide healthcare services to every migrant farmworker in the state.
We accept many insurance types, offer a Sliding Fee Scale discount program and are always willing to work with people who have difficulty paying for care. It’s just one of the many ways we honor our mission.
