Lisa Ladwig, APNP (PMHNP) | Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

A Wisconsin Rapids native, Lisa Ladwig, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner joined Noble Community Clinics in May of 2022. As a mental health professional with one year in, she received her education from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota and is eager to continue the great work of assessing, diagnosing and treating mental health needs of patients. She is very passionate about mental health and wants to raise awareness about management of mental health and eliminating the stigma associated with the conditions.

“I wanted to become an advocate for mental health equality in all patient populations but specifically for those in rural populations struggling to find mental health care,” says Lisa. She also chose this specialty of psychiatry to help bridge the gap between physical and mental health while also filling gaps in care with shortages in psychiatrists throughout the United States. She embraces the idea of being able to work with patients across the lifespan from children to adults, helping all ages focus on leading productive and meaningful lives.

While Lisa is not in the clinic, you can find her in the water in her pontoon during the summer and spending time with her family and friends. One fun fact about Lisa is that she had always known that one day she would become a nurse. She has spent many years providing foster care to traumatized children which eventually led to her passion for mental health.
