As a new graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health MPAS program, Miguel holds a double bachelors and master’s in physician assistant studies. His journey into healthcare began with a dedication to making a difference in his community first as a Health Aide and later as an EMT, a commitment he continues to uphold through his work today.

His ability to work with diverse populations, along with his fluency in Spanish and understanding of other cultures, allows him to provide culturally competent care. For him to be successful, he has dedicated time to ongoing education because he believes staying ahead of evolving medical practices ensures he delivers the highest quality care to his patients.
He believes in the power of communication and encourages his patients to ask questions, understanding that knowledge empowers individuals in their healthcare journey. He invites patients to ask him anything, “ask me if I’ve even fallen off a mountain,” says Miguel.
Outside of work, Miguel cherishes spending time with his family, including his spouse, children, and beloved dogs. He is deeply involved in his local church, recognizing the significance of spiritual well-being alongside physical health.
