About the Job:

Provides general medical care and treatment to patients in our Friendship clinic.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs.
• Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition.
• Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
• Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

• A master’s degree in physician studies is required.
• Physician Assistant License required.  DEA registration certificate required.
• 4+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience in ambulatory care preferred.
• Knowledge of QA/QI processes preferred.
• Experience in the use of a EMR system preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred minimum business requirements. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.
